Ideal candidates demonstrate expertise in performing comprehensive evaluations, facilitating meetings, problem solving within multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance. This position calls for collaboration with educators and families to help students reach their full academic, social, and emotional potential.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist Certificate (required)
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological services in K-12 or early childhood settings
- Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments, analyzing data, and interpreting results
- Effective facilitation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) or student support meetings
- Commitment to compliance, professional ethics, and ongoing learning
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills for engaging students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments using evidence-based tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies
- Lead meetings with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Provide crisis intervention, as needed
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to support student well-being
