Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist working across two welcoming and collaborative school environments serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. In this impactful role, you’ll engage with both Wolf Creek Elementary and Forest Spring Middle School, located adjacent to each other, supporting a diverse range of students and staff throughout the school year from July 30th to June 2nd.

Your daily responsibilities will immerse you as a valued member of each building’s student support teams. You’ll actively participate in problem-solving initiatives, Student Intervention Team meetings, and the Building Crisis Team. Alongside these collaborative duties, you will handle core school psychologist functions, including conducting IEP evaluations, delivering services, and working closely with educators and families to ensure every student has the tools necessary to thrive. This position, offering a standard 37.5-hour workweek, will allow you to make a visible difference through both proactive and responsive supports for children in grades K–8.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid state certification/licensure as a school psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience providing school psychology services within K-8 settings
  • Knowledge of special education law, IEP development, and assessment procedures
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to collaborate on crisis response and intervention strategies
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students
