Make a meaningful impact in both elementary and middle school communities by supporting the academic, behavioral, and emotional success of students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This on-site contract position offers the chance to work collaboratively across two adjacent schools, ensuring a dynamic and varied experience while building strong relationships with staff, students, and families.

As a key member of your building teams, you will play a central role in problem-solving processes, Student Intervention teams, and Building Crisis Teams. Your expertise will also be essential in conducting IEP evaluations and delivering high-quality services aligned with each student’s individualized needs. By working side-by-side with educators and other professionals, your contributions will foster positive learning environments and successful outcomes for young learners.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Current School Psychologist certification or licensure (state requirements must be met)
  • Experience working within school settings, particularly with K-8 populations
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and student services
  • Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration and crisis intervention preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability within fast-paced, diverse educational settings

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide daily school psychology services as part of building teams
  • Engage in problem-solving and intervention planning to support student success
  • Participate in Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams
  • Perform evaluations for IEP eligibility and develop recommendations
  • Deliver direct and consultative services as outlined in student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
