A fulfilling contract position is available for a dedicated School Psychologist eager to make a valuable impact on elementary students’ educational experiences. This assignment covers students in kindergarten through 5th grade, supporting them as a key member of an energetic and collaborative building team.

You’ll serve in a vital on-site capacity, participating in daily school psychologist responsibilities as well as specialized teams—such as the Problem Solving Process, Student Intervention team, and Building Crisis Team. Immersed in the school’s supportive community, your expertise will guide IEP evaluations, provide ongoing services, and contribute to a proactive learning environment. This is an on-site role, with potential for teletherapy if the position remains unfilled—currently, travel candidates are not being considered.

Assignment specifics:

  • Contract opportunity from July 30th through June 2nd
  • 37.5 hours per week, providing consistency and stability
  • Elementary school setting focused on students in kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Integral member of multiple support and intervention teams

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid credentials as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with K–5 student populations preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of IEP evaluations, special education processes, and crisis intervention
  • Collaborative spirit to partner with educators, staff, and families
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive IEP evaluations and deliver related services
  • Participate in daily problem-solving and intervention processes
  • Serve on the Building Crisis Team and Student Intervention Team
  • Support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development
