Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Current state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate various school scenarios
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments to support student learning needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and intervention plans
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend strategies for individualized student success
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Contribute to the development of positive behavioral interventions and school-wide supports
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
