What we’re seeking:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with diverse student populations, especially grades K-12
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting student achievement and well-being
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies promoting positive learning environments
- Provide direct intervention services, including counseling and crisis intervention, to individuals and groups
- Support students with IEPs and help plan appropriate accommodations and goals
- Offer professional insight that guides prevention and response efforts regarding behavioral and mental health concerns
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and support efforts to comply with state and federal education guidelines
