Required Background:

• Master’s degree (MA, MS, or MEd) in a relevant field
• School Psychologist certification or eligibility
• Minimum of three years experience working with students from early childhood through adolescence
• Proficient in diagnostics, assessment, and counseling

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and generate timely, actionable reports
• Meet with families to discuss findings from evaluations and strategize support
• Perform classroom and individual student observations to inform interventions
• Assess students at various developmental levels, including kindergarten
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers and staff regarding student diagnoses and facilitate best learning practices
• Participate actively in committees such as CSE, CPSE, and 504, supporting individualized student programming
• Review external psycho-educational evaluations to ensure continuity of care
• Provide targeted, short-term counseling for individuals and groups
• Assist in managing student crises and offer informed recommendations to staff and counselors
• Refer students and families to community agencies as appropriate
• Uphold strict confidentiality and foster positive, collaborative relationships with staff, families, and outside professionals
