Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling services in a school environment
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and time management abilities

Targeted Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred through the special education process
  • Develop, monitor, and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative psychological and counseling services to students
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary problem-solving and IEP meetings
  • Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and support for behavioral and emotional concerns
  • Assist with district-wide initiatives promoting student well-being and academic achievement
