Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid Washington state School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for credentialing)
  • Knowledge of special education evaluation methods, IEP development, and behavioral intervention strategies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Experience with diverse student populations and comfort navigating various school settings
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide clinical insights
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining student confidentiality

Core responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students using standardized assessments and observations to identify learning and behavioral needs
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings; contribute to eligibility decisions and educational planning
  • Develop, monitor, and support implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Support classroom accommodations and instructional strategies in collaboration with staff
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation for all assessments and services provided
