Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification in School Psychology
- Knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to IEP/504 teams
- Organizational skills and adaptability within diverse school environments
- Previous experience within school settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for students
- Provide recommendations for interventions and supports to enhance student success
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and behavior plans
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, families, and other service providers
- Participate in staff training, individual/group counseling, and consultation services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district and state requirements
