This contract position for a school psychologist offers the opportunity to work onsite alongside educators and administrators to deliver essential psychological support for young learners. As a key member of the special education team, you’ll help students overcome challenges and access the resources they need to thrive.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active, valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start)
- Prior experience providing psychological services to children in a school setting, especially at the elementary level
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to professional ethics and student confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation for students in elementary grades
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of students requiring special education
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other student support plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
This is an onsite-only role providing full-time support throughout the school year, from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
