Exciting school-based opportunity available for a skilled School Psychologist seeking a meaningful, contract role in the Omaha area. This position spans the academic year from August 10, 2026, through May 25, 2027, with an engaging Monday through Friday schedule—perfect for those who thrive on routine while making a difference in student lives.

As a valued team member, you’ll provide essential assessment and support services to students, focusing heavily on cognitive and academic testing, with occasional behavioral evaluations. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct initial Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and play an instrumental role in Student Support Team (SST) processes. Collaboration is key, but if you’d prefer some flexibility, enjoy a hybrid environment where paperwork and reporting can be managed from home. Q-Interactive will be your primary platform for administering and scoring assessments, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient data management.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
  • State licensure as a School Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience working within educational settings preferred
  • Strong background in conducting cognitive and academic assessments
  • Familiarity with the SST process and experience with FBAs
  • Proficient with Q-Interactive testing platform (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Adaptable, organized, and responsive to diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer cognitive, academic, and some behavioral assessments
  • Complete initial FBAs as needed
  • Provide recommendations and strategies during SST meetings
  • Prepare thorough reports and maintain timely documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students
