A professional opportunity is available for a School Psychologist serving educational institutions in Omaha, NE. This role involves supporting students' mental health and academic success by conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and developing intervention strategies that enhance student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and interventions aimed at improving student well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and developing IEPs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student populations.
- Ability to travel between school sites as required.
