A part-time opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist based in Oneonta, NY, with travel required to support various school settings. This role is integral to providing comprehensive educational and psychological services aimed at enhancing student well-being and academic success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Applying evidence-based interventions to promote academic, social, and emotional development
  • Offering counseling to students and supporting families with behavioral and mental health concerns
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting support plans to meet evolving student needs
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in a school environment is preferred
  • Proficiency with psychological assessment tools and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
