Your expertise will help shape learning environments and ensure students receive the support and interventions they need. From August to May, you’ll complete approximately 40 evaluations throughout the year, making a measurable difference in students' educational journeys.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Extensive knowledge of assessment tools and best practices in a school setting
- Experience handling multiple responsibilities and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills for participating in and leading meetings with families and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct domain meetings to determine evaluation scope and needs
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across various schools
- Compile, interpret, and report assessment results at team meetings
- Complete eligibility determinations as the primary school psychologist
- Collaborate effectively with other educational professionals, teachers, and administrators
- Maintain timely documentation and uphold ethical standards in all evaluations and recommendations
