Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students across multiple sites near Orland Park, IL. This on-site position begins August 17th and continues through the school year, with working hours from 8:00 to 3:30, Monday through Friday. You’ll partner with two elementary schools, providing your expertise where it’s needed most.

Your focus will be on meeting the needs of students within Autistic Support Classrooms and Emotional Support Classrooms. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with BCBA professionals and other specialists, ensuring comprehensive behavioral services and supportive educational environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential and Illinois certification
  • Previous experience in K-8 or elementary school settings
  • Familiarity with functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate services across multiple sites
  • A passion for supporting students with autism and emotional needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule behavioral and educational assessments across buildings
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to staff and families
  • Develop, implement, and monitor functional assessments and behavioral support plans
  • Collaborate with BCBA team members, teachers, and related service professionals
  • Contribute to Individual Education Plan development and progress monitoring for students
  • Create a positive, inclusive environment for both students and staff
