This full-time, in-person opportunity runs from 8 AM to 3 PM, offering the chance to work closely with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience providing school-based psychological services preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student strengths and areas for support
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational goals
  • Support school-wide initiatives promoting mental health, wellness, and positive behavior
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention strategies
