Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience providing school-based psychological services preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student strengths and areas for support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational goals
- Support school-wide initiatives promoting mental health, wellness, and positive behavior
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention strategies
