Work within dynamic, supportive school settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every child’s needs are addressed and their potential is realized.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Minimum two years of direct, school-based experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to core values and a proactive approach to student success
  • In-depth understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), SPED, and 504 processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to prevent, assess, and support the academic and social-emotional needs of students
  • Serve as a consultant for MTSS systems and lead interventions and progress monitoring for Tier 3 students
  • Actively participate in SPED, 504, and MTSS teams to screen, identify, and implement individualized student plans—ensuring 90–100% compliance with required regulations and timelines
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Facilitate and communicate with families, educators, and other professionals regarding child development, learning disorders, and support strategies
  • Stay abreast of current best practices and research in school psychology, providing professional development as needed
  • Maintain accurate service records, logs, and confidential documentation
