Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by serving as a full-time, onsite School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded case manager and a supportive clinical team, providing essential services at a campus on the west side of Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support students' academic and emotional well-being
- Provide consultation and recommendations for interventions and supports
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with all state and federal guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified School Psychologist (eligible in the state of Illinois)
- Previous experience working within a school setting
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education law, and the IEP process
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals
