Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued
  • Skilled in conducting psychological and academic assessments, as well as diagnostic examinations
  • Collaborative communicator, comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological, educational, and diagnostic assessments for elementary students
  • Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student success
  • Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling to support students’ emotional and behavioral wellbeing
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and intervention teams to develop individualized learning and behavior plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality in all student interactions
  • Serve as a resource and consultant for education staff on behavioral and psychological matters
