Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current licensure or eligibility for school psychologist certification in Maine
• Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families of diverse backgrounds
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education and intervention plans
• Provide counseling and direct support to students as needed
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies that promote student success
• Assist in crisis prevention, intervention, and response efforts within the school community
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal and state guidelines
