We are seeking a School Psychologist to provide essential services to students in grades 6 through 8 for a full-time, contract opportunity covering the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to ensure every learner receives the support needed to thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with middle or secondary school populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with MTSS/RTI frameworks and special education processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to handle a caseload of approximately 500 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment data to help guide intervention strategies
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ needs
- Consult with teachers, families, and outside service providers
- Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams
- Lead or assist with crisis intervention and behavior management as needed
- Help create a positive, inclusive school climate conducive to learning
This contract role begins August 6, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027. You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of approximately 500 students by providing critical mental health and educational services during vital middle school years.
