Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments to identify students’ needs, strengths, and barriers to learning
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop strategies supporting student success
- Offer consultation to staff on behavior management, mental health concerns, and academic interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district and legal standards
- Support school-wide initiatives to foster safe and positive learning environments
