Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students in grades 6-8 as a School Psychologist. This position begins August 6, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027. You'll have the opportunity to work full-time in a dynamic educational environment, providing essential mental health and academic support to a school community of approximately 500 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Experience working with middle school-age populations (grades 6-8 preferred)
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, behavioral interventions, and daily documentation

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed
  • Offer expertise in positive behavioral interventions and supports
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
  • Assist in fostering a safe and inclusive school climate
