A school psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Overland Park, KS. This contract position runs from July 28, 2025, through June 2, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Part-time candidates are also welcome to apply. The caseload primarily consists of elementary and middle school students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
- Leading meetings with educators, parents, and support teams
- Problem-solving to support student well-being and academic success
- Ensuring compliance with district and state regulations
- Collaborating effectively with teachers and administrators to support diverse learners
Qualifications and experience required:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist Certificate
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, particularly elementary and middle school levels
- Strong evaluation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities in a school setting
