Make a meaningful difference by supporting elementary and middle school students in a collaborative educational environment. This contract position is designed for a dedicated school psychologist to work onsite with both Kindergarten–5th grade and 6th–8th grade students, contributing expertise across two neighboring schools. From problem-solving initiatives to IEP evaluations and building crisis interventions, you'll play a vital role in ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed or certified school psychologist with experience in educational settings
- Proficiency in student assessment, IEP evaluation, and related services
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and student intervention processes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially working within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to professional ethics and maintaining confidentiality
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations as part of the IEP team
- Lead or participate in Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams
- Collaborate with educators and administrators on problem-solving frameworks to support positive learning outcomes
- Serve as a resource to parents, staff, and students by offering consultative services and interventions
- Develop behavior support plans and facilitate data-driven decision-making processes
- Assist in the development and implementation of interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Provide direct and indirect services aligned with district and school policies
This opportunity offers a full 37.5 hour workweek from July 30th to June 2nd, giving you consistent, meaningful engagement within the school community. You'll focus exclusively on onsite support to ensure effective integration with staff and students across both schools.
