School Psychologist | Overland Park, Kansas

As a contract School Psychologist, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to provide essential counseling, assessments, and interventions for the entire school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current certification or eligibility for school psychologist licensure in Kansas
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
• Strong skills in consultation, intervention planning, and crisis response
• Ability to foster productive relationships with students, families, and faculty
• Effective communicator with organizational savvy and adaptability in dynamic environments
• Previous experience in K-12 schools preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments for students referred for support services
• Develop and recommend tailored interventions to promote student well-being and achievement
• Consult with teachers and parents to facilitate effective classroom strategies and learning environments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support during urgent student needs
• Support school-wide initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive learning culture
