Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
- Knowledge of assessments, IEPs, psychological evaluations, and behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs and strengths
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect support to students through counseling, skill building, and intervention strategies
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and development
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams, student support meetings, and crisis intervention planning as needed
- Maintain accurate records and uphold all regulatory guidelines and ethical standards
