Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to interpret data and develop appropriate educational or behavioral plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
  • Knowledge of current best practices in educational psychology and student support
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create positive learning environments
  • Guide families through the evaluation process and recommend resources to support student success
  • Participate in IEP and 504 planning, offering expertise on social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Deliver group and individual counseling services as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation to support student mental health and safety
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with all regulations
