Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to interpret data and develop appropriate educational or behavioral plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Knowledge of current best practices in educational psychology and student support
- Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and school environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create positive learning environments
- Guide families through the evaluation process and recommend resources to support student success
- Participate in IEP and 504 planning, offering expertise on social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Deliver group and individual counseling services as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation to support student mental health and safety
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with all regulations
