This role runs from August 26th through January 1st, providing full-time, on-site engagement at 35 hours per week. Your focus will be on a caseload of PreK through 2nd grade students, making a direct impact on their growth and well-being during this pivotal phase of development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification (070) is required
- Demonstrated expertise within school settings and with early elementary caseloads
- Proficient in assessing students for social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Strong familiarity with both group and individual counseling methods
- Experience facilitating PPT and coordinating 504 meetings preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and classroom observations for students displaying social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Develop and provide targeted therapeutic counseling to individuals and groups
- Facilitate all PPT meetings for your caseload and collaborate with staff and families to ensure student needs are met
- Coordinate and lead 504 meetings, ensuring compliance with established protocols and maintaining accurate documentation
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and other specialists to foster a supportive educational environment
