Make a direct impact in a high school setting by utilizing your expertise as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work 25 or 30 hours per week supporting students in a collaborative educational environment not far from Oxford, CT.

In this position, you’ll play a vital part in evaluating students, supporting their academic and social-emotional growth, and helping shape positive outcomes throughout the school year.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Certification and/or licensure as a School Psychologist, with experience in educational environments preferred.
  • Background conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and clear understanding of IEP processes.
  • Experience providing both direct counseling and consultative services in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete approximately 25 student evaluations per year, ensuring all documentation and reporting are timely and thorough.
  • Provide counseling and support to high school students on a regular basis, addressing a variety of personal, academic, and behavioral concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies for student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, developing appropriate recommendations and interventions for individual students.
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.
