Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by providing critical support as a School Psychologist in a welcoming, in-person educational environment. With students ranging from PreK through 8th grade, this contract opportunity runs from August 19th, 2026, through June 2nd, 2027. Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering positive academic, social, and emotional outcomes during the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license or certification
  • Experience working with elementary-age students in PreK-8th grade settings
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), 504 plans, and special education processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations and assessments to support learning and behavioral needs
  • Provide direct support and interventions for students as needed
  • Collaborate with staff and families to develop student-centered strategies
  • Contribute to IEP/504 meetings and help create evidence-based plans
  • Promote a safe and supportive school climate
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school guidelines
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention

This contract role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week, schedule varies by school calendar), with no hybrid or remote work. Start and end times are school-specific—for example, Intermediate school hours are from 8:20 a.m. to 3:55 p.m., and Middle school from 7:40 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
