This contract position offers the flexibility to work part-time (20-24 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week), with standard school hours from 8 am to 4 pm.

Your role will focus on conducting comprehensive special education evaluations, facilitating IEP meetings, and offering collaborative support to the MTSS team. With a caseload ranging from 20 to 40 evaluations per year, you’ll make a meaningful difference for students and their families, ensuring all learners receive the individualized attention they deserve.

What You’ll Need:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience or strong understanding of school-based psychological practices
  • In-depth knowledge of the IEP process and special education eligibility criteria
  • Familiarity with MTSS and tiered intervention supports
  • Ability to manage multiple evaluations and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and teams
  • Commitment to promoting an inclusive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and deliver written evaluation reports
  • Lead IEP meetings, interpret assessment results, and develop tailored recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student supports
  • Provide consultation and guidance to MTSS teams
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Offer crisis intervention and participate in ongoing professional development
