Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and consultation practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, emotional, or behavioral concerns
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to address learning and behavioral needs
  • Provide consultation and support for teachers and families regarding student progress and classroom strategies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure student well-being
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
