Exciting contract opportunity for a bilingual (English/Spanish) school psychologist to support elementary students in grades K-5 in a hybrid role near Palo Alto, CA. This unique position offers a consistent schedule of 14 hours per week, allowing for both on-site and virtual engagement with students and staff. You’ll play a pivotal role in fostering student well-being and collaborative solutions in a close-knit school community beginning August 20th.

Desired Qualifications:

  • California School Psychologist credential required
  • Experience working with K-5 elementary populations in school settings
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
  • Comfort with virtual counseling platforms and technology for remote delivery of services
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments, analyze data, and develop recommendations for intervention or support
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to students, focusing on academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create positive outcomes
  • Participate in student study teams and IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocacy
  • Offer culturally responsive counseling and consultation, leveraging bilingual skills to connect with families and students
