Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; specialist-level graduate degree (Ed.S. or master's with at least 60 graduate units) in School Psychology
  • Valid California Department of Education credential for School Psychology services
  • Certified copy of transcripts
  • Experience with psychological assessment, special education support, or school-based services (preferred)
  • Demonstrated strengths in communication, organization, collaboration, and interpersonal relations
  • Able to work effectively with a diverse range of students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group psychoeducational assessments for students with learning, emotional, or behavioral needs
  • Recommend interventions, accommodations, and supports for special education services
  • Prepare for and actively participate in IEP meetings, coordinating closely with teachers and parents
  • Provide guidance and consultation to school staff on instructional strategies, behavioral interventions, and IEP implementation
  • Coordinate IEP processes for new student referrals, including family communications and classroom visits
  • Serve as a liaison among students, families, educational staff, and external providers or agencies
  • Maintain diligent and confidential documentation that meets school and state standards
  • Act as an administrative designee when necessary
