Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychological evaluations, IEP development, and special education compliance
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to deliver counseling, intervention, and crisis management
- Familiarity with diverse learning styles and support strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students in need of support or special education services
- Interpret testing results and provide recommendations to school teams and families
- Identify and address behavioral, learning, and emotional issues affecting student performance
- Attend and meaningfully contribute to IEP, eligibility, and intervention meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans and interventions
- Provide direct and group counseling to students as appropriate
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster positive educational environments
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
