Requirements and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of psychological evaluations, IEP development, and special education compliance
  • Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to deliver counseling, intervention, and crisis management
  • Familiarity with diverse learning styles and support strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students in need of support or special education services
  • Interpret testing results and provide recommendations to school teams and families
  • Identify and address behavioral, learning, and emotional issues affecting student performance
  • Attend and meaningfully contribute to IEP, eligibility, and intervention meetings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans and interventions
  • Provide direct and group counseling to students as appropriate
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster positive educational environments
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
