Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 academic year, serving students ranging from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. This contract position offers the opportunity to support three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, providing a dynamic and diverse experience. Enjoy a full-time schedule, with some flexibility for part-time hours if desired. Daily hours are Monday through Friday, either 7:20am–2:40pm or 8:30am–3:50pm, tailored to meet both your needs and those of the schools.

Your expertise will be crucial in completing comprehensive assessments, attending IEP and SST meetings, offering insights for intervention planning such as FBAs and BIPs, and potentially assisting with counseling services as needed. You’ll play a vital role in fostering a supportive learning environment across several campuses, ensuring students receive the psychological and educational support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cognitive, social/emotional, behavioral, and adaptive evaluations as required
  • Attend and contribute to IEP and SST meetings
  • Develop and support intervention strategies, including FBAs and BIPs
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Adapt to varying assignments across multiple school levels (PK–12)
  • Ensure all documentation and reporting is compliant with state and district standards

Qualifications:

  • Must hold valid Maryland certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proficient with adaptive technology (school provides laptop and necessary tools)
