School Psychologist in Paterson, NJ

What We’re Looking For:

• Current credential as a School Psychologist, RN with psychiatric experience, or Public Health Psychologist
• Knowledge of school systems, special education settings, and ESY programming
• Experience conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing recommendations for student support
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborate on individualized education plans
• Flexibility to adapt to summer program schedules

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological assessments and interpret results for students participating in ESY
• Offer mental health support and interventions to address student needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies for student success
• Consult with educators, families, and staff to ensure comprehensive care for each student
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional confidentiality
• Monitor and review progress, providing updates to relevant stakeholders
