Make a real difference in the lives of students as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment in the Patterson, CA area. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with educators, families, and school leaders to foster positive learning environments and help students achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Active California PPS credential in School Psychology
  • Previous experience working in K-12 settings is preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
  • Ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments
  • Review referrals and determine eligibility for special education services
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to address learning or behavioral concerns
  • Help create safe, inclusive, and supportive school climates
  • Lead and/or participate in intervention and data review meetings
  • Support crisis intervention, prevention, and response efforts as needed
