Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required
  • Experience working with K-12th grade populations preferred
  • Strong background in conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in an itinerant role, traveling between school locations as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, including evaluations for learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver consultation and guidance for student support services
  • Participate actively in problem-solving teams and multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Contribute to positive, evidence-based school climates
