School Psychologist - Pawtucket, Rhode Island

Step into an opportunity supporting middle school students as a dedicated School Psychologist on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist to co-treat a small, focused caseload. Your expertise will be vital in providing small group and individual counseling services, conducting evaluations, and actively participating in team meetings to help students succeed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience working within middle school environments preferred
• Familiarity with co-treating or collaborating alongside SLP professionals
• Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to middle school students in both small group and one-on-one settings
• Co-treat and develop collaborative intervention plans with a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations as required
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing input and recommendations
• Maintain clear documentation of services, interventions, and progress
• Collaborate with families and staff to promote positive student outcomes
