This rewarding contract opportunity extends through June 18, 2027, with both part-time and full-time schedules considered, though full-time is preferred. You'll provide crucial support to students ages 3–21, working collaboratively with educational teams to foster positive outcomes.

What we’re seeking:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Active Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403)
  • Experience conducting student evaluations and assessments
  • Proven ability to contribute to IEP development and eligibility determinations
  • Comfort providing counseling and behavioral support to diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Strong organizational skills for tracking progress monitoring and data collection
  • Flexibility to provide consultation, crisis support, and other school psychology services as required

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Supporting special education eligibility processes and IEP development
  • Delivering counseling and behavioral interventions to promote student well-being
  • Consulting with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams on academic and behavioral interventions
  • Engaging in crisis intervention and school-wide mental health initiatives
  • Collecting and analyzing data to inform interventions and monitor student progress
  • Participating in meetings and providing expert recommendations for student support plans
