Step into a rewarding school-based position supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract opportunity runs from July 15, 2025 through May 22, 2026. You will provide a meaningful impact within a dynamic educational setting near Cairo, GA, with a weekly schedule of 32.5–35 hours.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive student outcomes and help maximize student potential.
What you’ll bring:
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with K-12 students preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of comprehensive psychoeducational assessment tools and intervention planning
- Strong communication skills for effective consultation and team collaboration
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and advocating for student well-being
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Interpret evaluation results and develop recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative services to support teachers, staff, and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to help shape intervention strategies
- Collaborate on crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community
