Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid New York State School Psychologist Certification required
  • Experience conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
  • Strong counseling and psychological testing skills
  • Ability to manage a K-12 caseload effectively
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply—language skills are a plus
  • Must be available for onsite work only

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students as needed
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and academic growth
  • Administer age-appropriate psychological assessments and interpret results
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective MTSS strategies
  • Document all services, evaluations, and interventions in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Help foster a safe and positive school climate across diverse grade levels
