A school district in Peoria, IL is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to support student success through comprehensive psychological services. This role requires travel between schools within the district to deliver evaluations, counseling, and consultation tailored to diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health and well-being
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective strategies for student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards and legal requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting assessments and delivering interventions in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple school locations
