Ideal experience and qualifications:
- Degree in School Psychology or a related field (open to both fully licensed and candidates with limited licensure!)
- Strong commitment to helping students reach their highest potential
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and administrators
- Experience providing assessments, counseling, and intervention services in educational settings
- Ability to adapt and multitask in a changing school landscape
- Familiarity with developing and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is highly valued
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students to address learning and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop effective intervention strategies
- Participate in student support teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students and families
- Maintain compliant documentation and uphold ethical standards in all professional activities
