Desired skills and experience:

  • Current certification and licensure as a School Psychologist

  • Strong knowledge of educational and psychological assessments, interventions, and evaluations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to maintain accurate, confidential documentation and timely reporting
  • Adaptability and reliability in a fast-paced, onsite school environment

Position responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Prepare detailed psychological reports and participate in eligibility meetings for special education services
  • Support the development of IEPs by providing expertise and recommendations based on assessment findings
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote student learning, well-being, and a positive school climate
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families on issues related to student mental health and learning challenges

This contract offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek in a fully onsite setting, allowing you to build strong relationships within the school community and make a direct impact on student outcomes.
