A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support elementary students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by collaborating with education teams and supporting students across various campuses near Colorado Springs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CO CDE) School Psychologist license required
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education eligibility criteria
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Role Overview:

  • Provide psychological services, primarily supporting compliance and IEP development, rather than direct student services
  • Collaborate with special education teams at multiple elementary campuses
  • Serve a caseload where each school’s SPED roster includes approximately 40 students with IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop reports, and participate in eligibility determination meetings
  • Assist with behavioral interventions, evaluate student progress, and deliver expert recommendations to improve student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation according to state requirements

Details:

  • Contract role beginning July 27, 2026, and continuing through May 21, 2027
  • Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
  • Elementary student population
