School Psych - Pflugerville, Texas

Make a meaningful impact supporting students by leveraging your expertise as a School Psychologist on a full-time basis for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers a blend of onsite work (four days weekly) with one day approved for virtual service. Initially based at a 9th-grade center, there's also the potential to serve at elementary or middle school levels, providing varied experience across age groups.

Bring your assessment and counseling skills to a collaborative educational environment. You'll engage with students requiring comprehensive psychological services, with a particular emphasis on behavioral assessments, individualized intervention plans, and specialized evaluations.

Key Qualifications:

• Credentials as a School Psychologist with experience in educational settings
• Proficient in counseling, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Knowledge of Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairment (OHI), and Specific Learning Disability (SLD) frameworks
• Skilled in supporting students with Dyslexia through cog/ach evaluations for SLD/Dyslexia determinations
• Flexibility to support students at various grade levels, including high school, middle, or elementary
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and psychological support to students
• Perform FBAs and BIPs, addressing behavioral and learning concerns
• Complete cognitive and achievement assessments for SLD/Dyslexia evaluations
• Collaborate in developing IEPs and related intervention strategies
• Consult with educators, parents, and staff to foster student growth and success
