School Psychologist in Philadelphia, PA

Step into a vital role supporting students’ academic and emotional development! This contract position as a School Psychologist offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in an educational setting near Philadelphia, PA. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, and is full-time (35 hours per week) on-site. Exact hours and caseload will be determined prior to your start.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania (PA) is required
• Experience with school-based psychological assessments and evaluations
• Strong understanding of both initial and triennial evaluation processes
• Ability to facilitate PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings effectively
• Skilled in providing individual and group counseling to students
• Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, staff, parents, and administrators

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations—including both initial and triennial assessments—to support students’ educational programs
• Deliver targeted individual and small group counseling services, promoting student well-being and addressing academic or behavioral concerns
• Participate in and facilitate PPT meetings to develop, review, and revise students’ educational plans as needed
• Work collaboratively with educational staff and families to recommend evidence-based interventions and accommodations
• Maintain detailed documentation following school and district protocols
