Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding special education
- Ability to develop and implement intervention plans and behavior support strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special services
- Interpret assessment data and share findings with teachers, families, and administrators
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP/504 plan development
- Provide direct counseling to students individually or in small groups as needed
- Offer crisis intervention and support when necessary
- Consult with staff and parents to implement effective interventions and supports
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
