Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding special education
  • Ability to develop and implement intervention plans and behavior support strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special services
  • Interpret assessment data and share findings with teachers, families, and administrators
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP/504 plan development
  • Provide direct counseling to students individually or in small groups as needed
  • Offer crisis intervention and support when necessary
  • Consult with staff and parents to implement effective interventions and supports
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
