The assignment will follow the academic calendar from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with full-time hours that may vary depending on your specific school placement.

Key qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certificate
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required for all applicants)
  • Experience in school-based psychological services
  • Ability to operate independently and manage evolving caseloads
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy platforms is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to performing in-person services only (virtual/remote work is not permitted)
  • Previous use of pen-and-paper evaluation methods preferred

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychological services, including assessments, evaluations, and interventions, for a caseload of approximately 60 students
  • Complete 12 evaluations per day (estimation based on current district needs)
  • Serve a variety of campuses, ranging from elementary to high school, with weekly schedules and assignments subject to district placement
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student learning and emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and evaluation outcomes
  • Adhere to ethical standards and district policies throughout service delivery
